March 2021 Newsletter

Ahoy lads and lasses!

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join me for my next art event! Yes, a real event! Finally, a reason to leave the house for something other than groceries...

I will be guest hosting an art gallery at Radius Gallery this Sunday from 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM. I would be honored to see you for the first time in a year— I last showed my artwork in public at the Santa Cruz Makers Market downtown in February 2020, so this is a special opportunity to experience my art.

When:
Sunday, March 7, 2021
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Where:
Radius Gallery
Tannery Arts Center
1050 River St #127, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 (Directions)

All socially distancing protocols are required. Please be courteous and respectful of others' personal space and don't forget to wear a mask! Radius Gallery currently has a limited capacity of 8 people inside the building.

“450 Pieces” is an exhibition in partnership with Arts Council Santa Cruz, Radius Gallery, R. Blitzer Gallery, and Curated By The Sea. The show features over 450 pieces of original artwork by artist throughout Santa Cruz County. Last year in the height of the pandemic, the Arts Council created a new program called the Visual Arts Network to direct buyers and collectors to artists. Fast forward to today and we three galleries jumped on an opportunity to get the art in-house.

Featured Art: Original Bronze Pieces

I have four pieces on display at Radius Gallery, along with other work from the Visual Arts Network of artists.
In addition to the three bronze pieces above, I am excited to share the debut of my newest art sculpture, which that has never been shown in-person. All original bronze pieces will be available for purchase during the art show.
During the event, you will have a chance to win free art when you enter my raffle for a limited edition signed giclée print! Details on how to participate will be provided within the gallery.

I am so looking forward to seeing you in person!

Cheers,

Courtney Renee Scruggs
