OUR FOUNDER AND HER MISSION
​Whatknot Studios was founded in 2019 by Courtney Scruggs, a bronze sculpture artist from Santa Cruz, CA. She started this jewelry line as a way to make art more accessible. Unlike her bronze pieces, these tiny wearable sculptures are affordable for the average person while never sacrificing design and beauty.

MARKETING AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

Bryce Montgomery is a marketing genius and all around amazingly talented human. Along with being my oldest friend, Bryce has supported my work since I started creating art in high school. Bryce has been working at MAPS for the last 10 years, creating brilliant marketing content and raising money for such a great non-profit organization. I am so fortunate to have Bryce on my team.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT AND MEDIA MANAGEMNT/CREATOR 

Eliza Ayako is our production assistant as well as our social media manager and marketing content creator. She oversees our social accounts as well as our audience outreach content. She is an independent artist with focuses spanning across printmaking, fashion design, jewelry making, and mixed media work.
